Positions Available:

Software Engineer: Write, analyze, and review programs using workflow charts and diagrams, and apply knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Work directly on the architecture and major feature enhancements to our SCADA systems. Prepare manuals to guide end-users. Requires a master’s degree in CS- or IT-related fields with proficiency in ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript/AJAX, C#, MYSQL, and XML.

Technical Support Specialist: Full–time, remote position supporting a cellular–based monitoring system for the water and wastewater industry, primarily over the phone. Ideal candidates have good knowledge of basic electronic concepts to assist field technicians with installing and servicing hardware, understanding of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and familiarity with cellular connectivity and cloud-based software to solve customer–produced support tickets. Mission Communications will consider candidates with backgrounds in related fields such as communications, cable, DSL, networking, and general IT. This fully–remote position requires participation in on–call rotations after hours.

Regional Sales Manager: Promote low-cost SCADA solutions that serve the water and wastewater industries to new and existing distributors and customers by way of regional trade shows, seminars, and personal visits. Tasks include hardware and web demonstrations, presentations to decision makers and elected officials, training of installers, and occasional troubleshooting.

Firmware/Electrical Engineer: Develop firmware in C, design new embedded products, and support the existing ones. Mission needs an experienced C programmer who also understands hardware design.

Web Developer (Entry-Level): Hone software engineering skills working in conjunction with senior-level developers. This position will contribute to front-end web development while utilizing and further developing our web services layer. Candidate must thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change rapidly. Requires knowledge of AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, C#, SQL, and RESTful API. Candidate needs the ability to work in an agile, Scrum environment, knowledge of coding standards, design patterns, as well as experience with source control and team-based development tools.

Software Developer: Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications. Consume backend data services and contribute to enhancing existing data service APIs. Collaborate with other Programmers, Project Managers and the IT team to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent. Attend company meetings and gather business requirements. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues on an as needed basis. Participate in code reviews, review systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas. Structure and prioritize business requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval. Write specifications and coordinate with other programmers. Write SQL scripts for updating data and resolving data issues. Requires a master’s degree in Computer Science, plus one year experience in designing front-end applications and UI webpages. Proficiency in using ASP.NET, Angular JS, TypeScript, CSS3, Bootstrap, Visual Studio Code, NET library etc. Must refer to Code #YWGA2021.
