ATLANTA, August 9,2004 -- Today MISSION announced it
completed upgrading the home page of their customer web site
to reflect live updates of field units. Previously, field
units were simply GPS positioned on a map that automatically
scaled itself to include all of the customer’s sites. Now,
simply moving your cursor over a site icon gives you color
coded, numerical and graphic status of alarms, pumps,
levels, flows, etc. In addition, you can now “click” on any
site for detailed historical information about that site
including multiple format graphic trending and reports.
John Collings, President of MISSION, said “this fundamental
change in the presentation of our customers data allows them
to view the current status of both event and realtime
systems on the same map in a format that is very simple to
use. Now customers can easily get multiple levels of
information on one field site or system wide, all on their
home page.” Dave Beringer, Chief Technical Officer, said
“delivering multiple formats of real time data on one web
page reliably was a long time in the making. And to upgrade
from our old software requires only three “clicks” on the
screen by the customer; the rest is automatic.”
Since 1999, MISSION's core competencies have been in
national public wireless data networks, Internet
technologies, databases, graphical user interfaces and
computer telephony. MISSION specializes in combining these
technologies into “packaged SCADA” systems primarily for the
water and wastewater industries. Many of MISSION's features
are so advanced, or unique, they have patents or are patent
pending. For more information on MISSION Communications
