 The
MISSION Model 300 Series Vehicle Tracking RTU is a compact, easily installed unit that
combines a Model 110 Series communication link with a GPS module. The unit is small and fits
under the dash of the truck or car, and the antenna
(included) mounts on the windshield or window.
MISSION's
tracking unit reports the vehicles position every 15 minutes as long as the vehicle is moving.
The MISSION system can track a vehicle around the city or across the country.
When the vehicle is stopped, the MISSION system puts together a “parked list” showing where
the vehicles are and how long they have been there. This lets managers take periodic looks
at how the days work is going.
Monitoring helps managers or operators match problems in the field to those service personnel
who can most productively fix them. Service personnel who have specialties or weak areas
can be matched to the tasks they perform best. Both service productivity and personnel job satisfaction
can increase.
The complete system includes the GPS module, control channel cellular radio,
wiring/mounting hardware and GPS/cellular antenna.
